Anna Silk
Anna Silk is a Canadian actor who was born on January 31, 1974. She's best known as Bo in the Showcase TV series Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk as well as Peter Silk both were scholars. Ilkay was also a writer, producer, and director. She is Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is able to recall her first experiences as being at play rehearsals together with her mother. Silk was a part of numerous commercials for kids. She completed a Bachelor's degree in Arts in the field of theater at St. Thomas University. Her early theater experience includes at least two productions with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk moved to Toronto to further her acting career in November 1999. Later, she spent the following decade relocated into Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman is her future partner, which she was introduced to in Los Angeles at an Actors training. They got engaged in 2009 before getting married in a civil ceremony that December. On April 10 2011 they renewed their vows at an Jewish celebration in Fredericton after she converted to Judaism. Silk had an infant son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Her second son Levi Aaron was born on May 13 2016. Silk's television work is a part of Being Erica as Cassidy Holland and she received a Gemini Awards nod in 2009. In 2009 she landed the lead role as Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television show Lost Girl. Silk was expecting while shooting the final season of the third series. Silk announced her pregnancy to fans during the Showcase Season Three pre-show special of January 6, 2013. Silk tweeted on June 20th that she is ready to resume work. On June 4, 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially revealed the launch of production of the fourth season. CNN Cable News Network named Bo as well as Lauren Zoie Palmer, as the couples with identical sexuality on Lost Girl to be one of their top TV Couples of all time. E! Magazine declared them Top TV Couples of 2013 Entertainment Television. Silk has a huge online fan base on Facebook and Twitter because of its popularity.
